Having a child with Autism has had a significant influence on my career. Over the years I have accrued the tremendous amount of knowledge what biomedical and nutritional intervention can do, while recovering my own children. Therefore, the next logical step was to go back to school and get a degree in nutrition to be able to help other parents recover their children.

I am Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and hold a Master Degree in Nutrition from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College.

One of my two children was diagnosed with Autism when he was five years old. Currently, he is a high functioning teenager. My second child was diagnosed with autism when he was just 12 months old. He lost his diagnosis three years later! I specialize in functional medicine (identifying and treating the root causes and not placing a temporarily Band-Aids to help with the symptoms) and integrative nutrition (discipline that focuses on how diet and supplementation may contribute to the process of healing mind and the body) to create a personalized treatment plan for every patient. My primary focus is children with special needs and adults with unresolved, by traditional medicine, chronic illnesses. It is my strong belief that each individual possesses a unique puzzle, consisting of four major components:

  • Gastrointestinal system
  • Immune system
  • Energy metabolism and mitochondria
  • Neurological system

And there are also four most common factors that affect these systems and cause chronic diseases:

  • Toxins
  • Stress
  • Pathogens
  • Diet

Together we can unlock your health puzzle and put the missing pieces back together!
